GIG WINNERS!

Another enjoyable afternoon was had at Gig in the Gog today. Performing Artists of Dungog very kindly DOUBLED their sponsorship of the Performing Arts component of the DAS Annual Exhibition, from $200 to $400!

In addition, DAS had pledged $50 from donations at Gig in the Gog, and after today’s contributions, that amount also doubled, to $100!

That brings the total prize amount for the Performing Arts section of the Annual Exhibition to $500. Thank you to everyone who attended and ‘fed’ Geraldine the Golden Goose, and of course huge thanks to sponsors Performing Artists of Dungog!

Representatives of PAD, John O’Brien and Donna Cavanough, judged the performances and selected seven artists to perform at the exhibition opening on Friday 4th October, 6.30- 8.30pm.

The performers are, (in no particular order);

Rachel Butcher, Robert W. Smith, Bronwyn Shaunessy, Natalie Newton, Jim and Meera Jarvis, and Hugh Merrall. Congratulations to all the performers, who will share the $500. Dungog Arts Society will be in touch to work out times etc. We are eagerly anticipating enjoying your performances!
