Gig in the Gog (27/10)
Another fortnightly Sunday found us in the Dungog Art Society gallery for Gig in the Gog, and what a beautiful day it was.
I’m always warmed by the feeling of community that is shared in this space. It is an encouraging and safe space for people to find their preforming feet. I’m never surprised when someone comes in just to watch and ends up preforming, mostly because of the inviting openness of the day.
Today felt special, with everyone being swept up, people sang along, people played along, tapped along. Our voices flowing up Dowling St like our own little choir.
We welcome everyone to our next Gig in the Gog 10/11. Who knows you could come to check it out and be inspired to perform.
