Get your “Dungog Archies” entries in! (And landscape and sculpture and still lifes and crafts… )

Our next exhibition is titled “Faces and Places”, and incorporates the Dungog Archies, as well as prizes for caricature (more “Faces”) and landscape works (“Places”). So yes, there IS a Dungog Archies this year, and there will be other prizes, too.

You don’t “DO” portraits or landscapes? NO PROBLEM! There are plenty of visual arts other prizes, like;
“Open”- specifically for artworks which don’t fit into any other category. These can be ANY subject and media. Just not portraits, caricatures or landscapes because those things have their own categories.

3D works- pretty self-explanatory really… SCULPTURE. Three dimensional artworks. Could be made of stone, ceramic, wood, glass, fibre, metal, or silly string. Whatever. So long as they are three dimensional and don’t take up the whole gallery. Oh, and preferably nothing too stinky.

Photography- again, the same says it all.

AND THEN… there is the CRAFT section, with these categories;
Fibre
Ceramic
Wood
Open

And of course there are prizes for art and craft works from artists and artisans under 18 years of age.
