Yoanna Dragostinov
- Beach, by Yoanna Dragostinov. This watercolor was painted plein air at Palm Cove, Queensland.
- Birch Grove, an atmospheric, light-filled watercolour by artist Yoanna Dragostinov
- Houses at Hunter Valley – This watercolor was painted plein air while I was driving through the Valley.
- Sunflowers – watercolor. Who doesn’t love these gorgeous flowers!
- Sunrise Over the Mountains – watercolor. I have been fascinated by how the sun kisses the high tops of the mountains first when it rises.

I am a Hunter Valley based artist who completed a Master of Arts (MA) from Sofia University.
I work mostly in Acrylics and Watercolor.
I search for the extraordinary in subject material. It may be a landscape or a single flower I find interesting, or would like to understand. I am particularly mesmerized by sunsets and sunrises. I look for the excitement of intense light, mood and the dramatic sculptural forms in the object.
Since I moved to the Hunter Valley I have participated in three local exhibitions, selling a painting in each one and winning an award at the Dungog exhibition for my painting Birch Grove in the category of traditional landscape.
