COMPLETED Paper Collage Portraiture
with Rowena Lloyd-Jones

Immerse yourself in the vibrant realm of paper collage as we explore and piece together dynamic portraits inspired by Johannes Vermeer’s masterpiece The Girl with the Pearl Earring, unveiling unique expressions in every snip and arrangement.
This class will cover:
- Overview of Vermeer’s contribution to art
- Exploration of colour theory
- How to create different textures with paper
- Layering and composition
- Capturing personality in collage
Class size: up to 12 adults, over 18’s only, please

About the teacher
Rowena Lloyd-Jones is a mixed media artist making waves for her unique abstract paintings and collages, and recently exhibited her work at the Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie. Rowena was also awarded for her contribution to the Carol Duvall Memorial Award in 2022.
You will be able to download a .pdf file with all the above details after payment. This will be updated as needed, and any updates will be listed here and in our News and Events page, so you can download them too if you wish. The download file will be available until just after the workshop. That means you can keep an electronic or paper copy (if you want to print it out) with all the relevant info at hand.
